Thank you for this amazing stay ! We got upgraded and the apartment was perfect. Everything was clean and cozy : the little kitchen, the bathroom and the rooms. We warmly recommend this place, and the location was ideal for those who want to visit the north-east of the island the next day. If we ever come back to Iceland, we will definitly come here again !

Panoramic views of Lake Lagarfljót can be enjoyed from all accommodation options at Ormurinn Cottages. Each cottage has high, sloping ceilings. We loved this cottage, it was a little heavenly home (while a snow storm was happening outside) and we felt warm, cosy & safe. Well equipped, and of course beautiful surroundings. Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. This property offers sea-view rooms with access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. WiFi and on-site parking are free. I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

The rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a desk. The staff was very kind. Nice and clean room with TV, Netflix, comfy bed and enough towels. The breakfast with view was amazing. Food was tasty and good quality, same with beverages. We could check in after midnight.

Cute little cottage that had everything, including stovetop and little dining room. Room was comfortable.
