We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

Very knowledgable and friendly staff, warm atmosphere, great hotpool, good restaurant. Beautiful location!

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Geat location near the road. The house is beautyful and cozy. The room smells really nice. The shower is good. The kitchen has everything you need. You can order food and breakfast (not inlcuded). It was our best stay in iceland.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The chalet offers lake views and a picnic area. It was far away from the city, close to waterfalls and with a stunning view of the lake. Nicely equipped with everything necessary, fire places added very nice and cozy vibes to it. It was stylish with wooden design, so it created perfect ambiance. It was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. So worth it

The spacious apartment features 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 1 bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and a washing machine. Guests can take in the views of the sea from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The host sent us instructions before arrival and it was very helpful, I read lots of info about this property so I knew what to expect and I knew there wasn’t a separation between the “rooms” and it didn’t bother me. The apartment was really nice decorated and we felt very comfortable there, we made dinner and breakfast and the kitchen was well equipped. The drive to this apartment was the most beautiful drive of our 10 day trip, I didn’t know we had to drive up the snowy mountain to get down to this city and it was incredible. It’s a pity it was raining when we arrived and we couldn’t go out for a walk in the village and we didn’t see the northern lights, which we were very hopeful to see the lights in this city due to its prime location.
