Loved the place very scenic. The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. All rooms at Guesthouse Vogafjos have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. It is a great place to stay. There is enough space for family of four in the room. Nice little restaurant with great meals. Attentive set of people serving and they do show care. We enjoyed our breakfast. It is close to many attractions too.

The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

When we went in june after snow storm there was feesh snow everywhere. Kids made snow man outside hotel. Pizzeria is also good
