Modern, clean facilities. Exceptionally helpful staff! Even though it's a bit of a walk to the main gondola, the staff provided us with a ride every morning. Coming back home for the day it's only a few minutes from the slopes. Would certainly stay here again.

Fantastic hosts, so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They literally drove us to the slopes every day and picked us up. They even drove us to Nagano to catch the train back to Tokyo at the end of our stay. The accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is super modern. To get the best from this property, get stuck in and meet the other guests, it's such a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Noise levels drop by 10pm to ensure a peaceful night sleep and the breakfast/ food it's awesome. Thanks for the fabulous welcome to all the staff at Dark Horse.

The staff was lovely, we had dinner at the restaurant there- indian style, and it was delicious! The owner made everything to order and we had a great time. Atsu was so nice and welcoming! Relatively close to Matsumoto and Nagano, but great if you look for a peaceful and quiet location
