The room design is very modern - the raw concrete and industrial design elements, as well as the open floor concept connecting room, bathroom and balcony are really well done. You can see that the owner knows what he‘s doing and has a great eye for good design. The hotel is super well located and in close walking distance to some of Fukue‘s main sights, a bunch of restaurants/bakeries etc. Last but not least, the owner really went way and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He was always available for questions, helped us making reservations with restaurants and arrangements with a rental car company, etc. This helped us a lot, especially as English is not so widely spoken in Fukue/Goto.

All units in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. With a shared bathroom equipped with a bidet and a hairdryer, certain units at Almas Guest House(アルマス） also have a city view.
