The location was also very good - central location, close to restaurants, convenience stores and walking distance to the train station. I really enjoyed my stay and will highly recommend it. The location is great: just next to the station and at walking distance to the sightseeing sites. The breakfast is wonderful. The only drawback was the waiting one morning for getting access to the breakfast room.

Host were very friendly and helpful. Also, property is very clean.

The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests. Very polite and helpful. We had the private room and had dinner and breakfast in our room. It was a must do experience. Also the location was very good on the border of Nara park

I didn't expect it to be so but it was the BEST place I stayed during my 3 month trip to Japan. The owner is super friendly and helpful, same goes for the family members, I felt very welcome there, like a distant relative on vacation;) The breakfasts were delicious. The house itself is really beautiful, clean, and very close to the train station. It's very easy to get to all the Nara sightseeing spots. I cannot recommend this amazing place enough. If you hesitate - don't, you have found the best place to stay at around Nara:)

Novotel Nara is an excellent hotel. They gave me a great room on the 7th floor with a huge bed and nice bathroom and other facilities. The hotel is located near the conference center where I went every day so this was a bonus. The breakfast was a nice mix of Japanese and western delicacies. However, I only tried it once so I can't say much more.

The ryokan has family rooms. I felt very welcome, and the place and the facilities were great! I also really enjoyed the meal, the onsen and the beautiful view from out of my room. The location was also very convenient, near the cable car station and Hozan-ji. I would really love to visit again sometime!

Suehiro Park is 25 km from the hotel and Nozaki Kannon Shrine is 25 km away. Just wow. Great room, awesome facilities. The only thing, we had a cockroach outside while enjoying the onsen. It climbed out of the sewer or something and I was terrified to death :)
