Located high in the Atlas Mountains, Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is an eco-friendly hotel with a hot tub, children’s swimming pool and an organic garden. It was built with natural materials and is a 15-minute drive from Tinghir. Amin is a great guy. The entire staff is excellent. Our bus couldn’t pull in front of the hotel. They ran up the road to carry all our bags. Food is great,too.

This guest house is located in the old village of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a sand fortress 30 km from Ouarzazate. You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Rashid was really kind and stayed up until late to let us check in when we had a BIG delay - much appreciated. The house has a great vibe to it and a warm atmosphere. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the African coffee with spices for breakfast - quite exceptional! Highly recommended!

The bathrooms were impeccably clean. The staff were so friendly, honest, and above all helpful. The lovely man who greeted us, gave us amazing suggestions about how to spend our time in Ourrzazate.
