We had the most amazing stay at Lux Le Morne – everything was perfect and far above our expectations! A big thank you to our welcoming guide Mathieu for making us feel at home from the start, and to Sushila who kept our room always spotless and shining. But our deepest gratitude goes to Iqbal – our driver, guide, and above all, our friend. His kindness, knowledge, and genuine care made our trip truly unforgettable. He didn’t just take us from one place to another – he shared the soul of Mauritius with us, always making us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. We will forever remember him as a big part of our beautiful experience, and for this we are extremely grateful.

I would highly recommend this apartment to everyone, especially for the following reasons: transportation, comfort, kitchen, and service. Location & Transportation: The apartment is very conveniently located. It takes about 40–50 minutes from the airport, and the journey is smooth and easy. Bedding & Comfort: The owner, Johanna, must be someone with a great sense of taste and a genuine love for life. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but the bedding in this apartment is exceptionally soft and comfortable — truly comparable to a five-star hotel experience. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and all the appliances and utensils are high quality. After cooking, I could easily use the dishwasher, which made everything even more convenient. Service & Host: Johanna is incredibly kind and thoughtful. She takes such good care of herself that she feels more like an older sister than a host. I truly hope to come back and stay here again with my family next time.

From a terracet tere is a view of the bay and Le Morne, beautiful sunsets. The lady gave us a canoe and we paddled to the island of Ile aux Benitieres. We were alone on the island, otherwise it is full of tourist boats. Larger store approx. 1 km away, near the restaurant. Strongly recomended.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Mauritius. It was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind. But what made our stay truly special were the hosts, Stephane and Diane. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and kindness, always ready to help and make us feel at home. Their care and attention to detail made us feel less like guests and more like family. We also absolutely loved their adorable dog, Fluffy, and their lovely son, Ruben, who brought even more joy to our experience.

Our host was friendly, kind, and always helped us back out the drive way! We loved the space, and appreciated the cooking space. We would recommend this please to anyone, thank you!

La Maison de la plage - Guest House in Albion biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een barbecue. This was the most peaceful place we have stayed in a while. Super friendly host/hostess and staff. It was like we were staying with some relatives. The location was excellent, the sunsets you get are amazing. There were great restaurants nearby, which served amazing food. Also we had variety in breakfast, no two days were the same. Which you do not get at the resorts. It is a place you have to experience, nothing can describe it. And yes the rum was 😋
