Featuring sea views, Anchorstone provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 2.6 km from Dead Man Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features facilities for disabled guests. Owners were super lovely and helped return an item I left on the island asap! They picked us up from the ferry and had a courtesy car we could hire during our stay which was invaluable. Cabins are fairly close to each other but private enough we could enjoy our stay. Had washer and dryer available if needed.

The staff was so helpful before and during our stay, including a last minute request for a lift from the Ferry terminal to our hotel. The room was large and comfortable, perfect for our stay. TY

All modern apartments include a seating area with satellite TV and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms open out on a private balcony, with views of the bay or surrounding bush. The spacious rooms also offer free WiFi, electric blankets and individually controlled central heating. Staff, Vicki, was wonderful - helpful, efficient, and friendly. The room was cozy, clean, and our room had a nice view.

The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with kitchenware, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. A flat-screen TV is available. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The kiwi batch is clean very warm and a close walk to the beach, shop and ferry terminal. The hosts were great to communicate with and very flexible. Lastly the beds are extremely comfortable 😍

Guests can take in the views of the sea from the terrace, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The private position and the tranquility, with wonderful background sounds of amazing bird song. The Pod was terrific, well kitted out. A very special place to stay.

With sea views, Church Hill Boutique Lodge & Restaurant is located in Half-moon Bay and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Church Hill might be the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed. The location, the hosts, the accommodation, and the food were all amazing. Exquisite attention to detail!

Featuring a terrace, Kowhai Lane Lodge is situated in Half-moon Bay, not far from Ringaringa Beach.

Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Great hosts with impressive knowledge of Stewart Island.

The self-contained studio units are adjacent to the main hotel building. The older-style accommodation upstairs in the main hotel offers shared facilities including a communal guest lounge overlooking the harbor, which offers tea and coffee making facilities. A great hotel with a fantastic location. The room is better than the pictures with a fridge and small kitchen area. Highly recommended.
