The views across to Auckalnd and Rangitoto alone are worth the price, but it's the little touches that make this place special: all the fittings are metal where possible, the finishing is exceptional, and the wine is from across the road. It gave our stay a feeling of luxury and care that was beyond the price. It was also probably the best bed we've ever had - it shaped itself to us in a way neither of us had experienced before.

We had such an amazing stay, definitely recommend! Excellent communication from Steve, easy instructions provided to find the rental car as well as the accomodation. Beautiful, clean unit we stayed in. Had everything we needed (small fridge, basic kitchen equipment, towels). Amazing views. The outdoor tub and sauna were beautiful and great to use! They also provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to see/visit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Jules and Bruce were very welcoming and hospitable. Great to be picked up from the ferry and they were happy to run us around locally if required. Really helpful suggestions on where to go to see and eat and walks etc. Very comfortable room with everything you need for breakfast but no kitchen per se. Nice touch to have milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge.

Und zwar in jeglicher Hinsicht, denn die liebenswerten Besitzer haben alles mit grösster Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet: Küchenausstattung top (Salz- & Pfeffermühle, Bio-Spülmittel, Aussengrill von Weber, u.v.m.), Bad sehr hochwertig (top modern, genügend Handtücher, edle Produkte, Insektenschutzgitter, …), Apartment mit vielen Details (Taschenlampe für Notfälle, gratis Wasserflaschen neben dem Bett, Insektenschutzgitter, Markise auf der Terrasse, Grill, der zum Apartment gehört, wunderschöne Gartenanlage, u.v.m.). Dazu sind die Vermieter noch sehr zuvorkommend, grosszügig und flexibel. Geschäfte, Restaurants und Strand in problemloser Gehdistanz. Diese Unterkunft würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.
