The host was unbelievably kind (Eran picked us up from the ferry, and the property's check-in and check-out times are extremely generous). I would recommend this property to anyone who values privacy, tranquility, and empty beaches. I felt like we were on a private island. Perfect place for a couple.

Located on the best beach of the island (Cacique Beach). The views from the hotel are breathtaking...you have to see them to believe it. The owners are the friendliest and willing to help with anything you need. They pick you up and drop you off at the ferry which is what we took, but I'm sure they will also go get you from the air strip if that is your mode of transport. They gave us great recommendations for other beaches to check out and restaurants. They even gave us a ride on their golf cart to the mini market when we were walking that way. I have no complaints about our stay...we had a wonderful couple of days and are already planning our next visit.

Hotel Gerald beschikt over een buitenzwembad en een restaurant, op een prachtige locatie op het strand van Galeón, aan de noordkust van Contadora. Er is een dakterras met een klein dompelbad. Amazing staff, always nice and ready to help. Very clean room, good restaurant and breakfast. Super convenient location to access all the beaches around especially Playa Larga and Playa Galeon.

The manager greeted us as soon as we arrived, very much appreciated we were spoken in English! Good direction on how everything worked. Pleasant music in dining area was so relaxing and the food for welcome was a nice surprise! Very organized and so clean! Furniture was very comfortable. Beds were a very important thing for me, but they were comfortable & fresh! Including pillows. The cabins were impeccably clean!!! Not even a speck of sand. No unpleasant smells in cabin either. Just clean & relaxing. The porch was perfect for a private seating space. ❤️

Unfortunately the unit was rented before and immediately after which is hard for young children needing naps. Check in at 3:30 and out by 11am which didn’t correspond to the ferry schedule.
