Claudia, the owner, made me feel at home, and as soon as I arrived from a long trip she was already there waiting to welcome me. Everything is new and clean in the lodge. Rooms are well-equipped and have good air conditioning, comfy beds and a great decoration. The pool is specially beautiful at night and together with the garden makes a good place to chill. The restaurant is great and is probably the best option in town, with great drinks and several food options. Breakfast is also delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to do anything to make you feel welcome there. They also have a shop that is most likely the only place you will find souvenirs in town, and exclusive handmade items. Special thanks to Claudia and Natalie who made my stay more than special!

We loved the room, it is cozy and decorated very cute. The views in the morning were amazing and the accessibility to the beach and tours nearby was very nice. The hosts had very good references for tours and activities. We had breakfast there and it was delicious.

The food is outstanding, with different menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal was delicious, and we kept wanting to try more! The yoga deck is a dream, whether for the daily classes or your own training session (there are even some weights available). There’s also a beach volleyball court, a stargazing area, a gorgeous pool, and direct access to a beautiful beach for long walks. Plus, they offer massages, tours, and easy access to diving centres (about 20mins away) in Santa Catalina, which made it the perfect base for our PADI certification. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ryan and Anthea, whose story and passion for this place shine through in every detail. Their love for music adds a special touch to the atmosphere, making it even more unique. The vibe is social yet laid-back, like a boutique retreat with the warmth of a hostel, but for all types of travelers—singles, couples, families, and friends alike. Honestly, everything was perfect. Catalina’s Hideaway was one of the absolute highlights of our three-week adventure in Panama, and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

The mosquito net made sure we could get a good night's sleep without being bitten. We loved our stay, if we ever come back to Santa Catalina we will be staying at Rancho Estero again (but longer :-) ).

Villa Coco, in the heart of Santa Catalina, is a luxury boutique hotel and one of the most famous in the small and picturesque town.

We are a family-run hotel with nine rooms spread around a lush green garden, where you can enjoy ultimate tranquillity and relaxation. Amazing location and service at villa coco. When we arrived from a long ride we got a nice drink. Our luggage were carried to our room. The room is spacious and there is outdoor shower. The food in Villa coco is amazing. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing, there was nice music in the restaurant. Therefore we only ate in Villa coco. The swimming pool is super nice, I think the best in Panama of all the locations I have been. The beds at the swimming pool are very comfortable, so you can sunbathe the whole day. At the last day, the owner of Villa coco was super friendly and he brought us to the city centre of Santa Catalina with the pick up, because there are no taxis/busses. In the garden of Villa Coco you can walk to a hidden beach and at night you can see an amazing sky full with beautiful stars. We got a notification that there are constructions in the garden, but it was not disturbing at all. It was really quite and we could really relax in the garden. I will totally recommend a stay in Villa Coco. You will totally unwind and relax there!

Free parking is available. i loved my cozy, clean room. there is a wash down area for your feet (which can get muddy on the beach). the restaurant was great - so many choices - i could not choose but the chef/owner,juan is obviously gifted in the kitchen. it was a nice gesture to give the dinner guests a sample at the beginning of the meal. my small issues with mechanical stuff - a stuck key and ac remote that was dead- were handled immediately and with a smile (thanks chris!!)

Casa Maya, located at a walking distance from Santa Catalina and a 5-minute walk from town beach, 20-minute walk from the Estero beach, Casa Maya features a garden, terrace and free high speed internet. Excellent Check-in and excellent communication with Paola via WhatsApp . Paola comes every afternoon (16h- 19h), very friendly. We got the keys from the house keeper, or they would be on our door with our name. Little nice house ( very very clean) in a garden, very quiet place. Small terrasse with table and chairs. Inside : A sofa, a small kitchen, a rather large bedroom, and a tiny bathroom. Lots of towels. Good lights, AC. An excellent pizzeria and a gelateria quite close (100m).
