The room was very clean and was cleaned every day which helped deal with sand that gets everywhere and kept the bed and towels always refreshed. Breakfast was very good.

As everyone before us has said: super clean, very comfortable, on demand hot water, safe, walking distance to university and local shops. A local lady sells home baked goods on the corner (our of her van) every day starting at 3pm - 2 sol each - best cookies with caramel ever! Felipe was super helpful, relaxed, provided treats and we really enjoyed talking with him (fincas, motorcycles and tips on the city). We were grateful for the courtyard car parking.

Sometimes you just need to have a good rest in a place like this then you you can carry on with your travels like a champ again. The place is so well organised and cosy with all attention to the details for your comfort. Very healthy vibe in there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner is awesome dude putting his heart and effort in to this place, making sure that we have great experience and good stay.

At the hostel, rooms have a wardrobe. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Strenua - Las Quintanas also boast free WiFi, while some rooms include a city view. At the accommodation, rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Everything. The young ladies Roxanne and Claudia and Raquel were all outstanding in their help. The breakfast was excellent, the bed was lovely and comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Hot water in the shower and the location was an easy and friendly walk to the Plaza des Armes. To cap it all off we were allowed to stay at the hotel until it was right for our late bus out of Trujillo. Nena the dog was a star too! We stayed 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer.
