The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

The owner took time to tell us about their habits, life and floating islands. What is more they arranged a free transfer to the island for us as well. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. His and his family's hospitality was amazing. I fully enjoyed my stay here including the dishes they prepared and we danced together. In addition he took me to the top of pacha mama that is the highest point of Amantani. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.

A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a garden. The room was exceptional. The host and his family went out of the way to meet our needs. Whatever we requested he was happy to oblige I would definitely recommend this place, staying there on lake Titicaca was an experience of a lifetime that was made sweeter in this beautiful accommodations (it was the best one on the lake) with almost 360 degree view of the water

Inca Manco Cápac International Airport is 48 km away. Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. I can not recommend this stay enough!! My husband and I left with our hearts full and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime! THANK YOU Walter, Maria, Sabino and Elena! Mucho amor y bendiciones!

They arranged all transport for us and we had a great communication via WhatsApp. They showed us around the islands, made us delicious breakfast and dinner, explained about their community and answered all our curious questions.
