Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

Die Unterkunft Amazon tucuxi befindet sich in Mazán und bietet eine Bar. Diese Unterkunft besticht durch einen Zimmerservice und bietet Gästen außerdem ein Restaurant. Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit bei Lizet und ihrem Mann Willer. Beide sind so liebenswürdige Gastgeber, sie haben sich um mich gekümmert als ich zu ihrer Familie gehöre. Das Essen war sehr gut, Lizet ist eine tolle Köchin. Das Programm der Touren kann man individuell zusammenstellen lassen, es war alles super organisiert und als Alleinreisende und das erste Mal im Amazonas hatte ich eine fantastische Zeit, wo ich mich immer gut aufgehoben gefühlt habe. Gerne wäre ich noch länger geblieben und ich freue mich schon ein ander Mal wieder zurèckzukehren, vielleicht sogar in der Regenzeit. Zudem ist der Guide des Dorfes, Don Enrique, fantastisch, er kennt die Gegend wie seine Westentasche und ich hatte eine fantastische Zeit auf den Touren mit ihm.

Die Unterkunft Eywa Lodge Amazonas - All inclusive befindet sich in Yucuruche und bietet eine Bar. We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Eywa lodge and we had a fantastic time. From the moment Freddy met us at our Iquitos hotel until we said our heartfelt goodbyes at the lodge and in Iquitos we were treated with respect and as friends. We were never patronized. The entire team became our friends as well as guides and supporters. Our stay at the lodge, in the forest, on the river was dreamlike. My expectations of giant anacondas, growling jaguars, and man-eating spiders were soon forgotten, replaced with endless green forest, magnificent wild rivers, countless birds, and jewel-like starry night sky’s. Particulars: prepare for rain(panchos). Expect mosquitos, they weren’t bad for us.  We used deet and piccardin and both were effective unless you are known to attract mosquitos, if so, douse outer wear with permethrin. Light weight long sleeve shirts and pants. Good walking shoes, hat, headlamp, and walking stick. Meals were delicious, varied and used local produce and were presented with style. Wifi at lodge was quite good. And the lounge/bar serve a mean pisco sour.

From the moment our excellent guide, Neytha, met us at our Iquitos hotel up to bringing us right back our experience was outstanding. The location was incredible and Neytha's expert individually guided trips from the lodge were wonderful. His care and consideration for our limitations as over 60's was very reassuring. The food and facilities at the lodge, bearing in mind we were 3 hours from Iquitos in remote jungle, could not be faulted.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable.

We stayed 3 nights and it exceeded our expectations as the pictures don’t really show how beautiful it actually is there.

Die in Yucuruche gelegene Unterkunft Libertad Jungle Lodge verfügt über eine Terrasse. It was great because we had one tour guide (Miguel) taking care of us the entire time. From pick up to drop off and we had so many great outings and adventures thanks to him ! I can really recommend this lodge.
