Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

Eywa Lodge Amazonas - All inclusive bevindt zich in Yucuruche en biedt een bar. De accommodatie biedt een 24-uursreceptie, luchthaventransfers, roomservice en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Eywa lodge and we had a fantastic time. From the moment Freddy met us at our Iquitos hotel until we said our heartfelt goodbyes at the lodge and in Iquitos we were treated with respect and as friends. We were never patronized. The entire team became our friends as well as guides and supporters. Our stay at the lodge, in the forest, on the river was dreamlike. My expectations of giant anacondas, growling jaguars, and man-eating spiders were soon forgotten, replaced with endless green forest, magnificent wild rivers, countless birds, and jewel-like starry night sky’s. Particulars: prepare for rain(panchos). Expect mosquitos, they weren’t bad for us.  We used deet and piccardin and both were effective unless you are known to attract mosquitos, if so, douse outer wear with permethrin. Light weight long sleeve shirts and pants. Good walking shoes, hat, headlamp, and walking stick. Meals were delicious, varied and used local produce and were presented with style. Wifi at lodge was quite good. And the lounge/bar serve a mean pisco sour.

Grand Amazon Lodge and Tours - All Inclusive bevindt zich in Paraíso en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een bar, en gratis WiFi. This is an outpost in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, so of course we did not expect anything too fancy. Having said that, the lodge is an adorable place, simply made with mostly local materials, but beautifully designed. It takes a lot of work to keep everything clean and in working condition there, and all the necessary work was made in discreet ways, so that they would not bother the guests. What they have achieved is remarkable. The lodge employs many people from the local villages, thus enrolling the villages in conservation policies. There is one guide and one tracker for each group, and they take you around, on jungle walks and boat rides. Everything is as fascinating as you can imagine. We were very lucky and saw a lot of wildlife, including blue macaws, ant eater, sloths, monkeys, and so many colourful birds and butterflies. Food is delicious and the breakfast is very good. A special word for all the crew: guides, trackers, cooks and maintenance: all of them were really kind and knowledgeable. They go the estra mile to make the guests feel good. The lodge is powered with solar panels, batteries and a generator to complement the solar. Power is enough and never had an outage. Internet is available on the lobby/main hall, and works well most of the time. More than enough considering that you are in the middle of the jungle. This was a blast we will never forget. Higly recommendable if you love this sort of thing.

Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge - ALL INCLUSIVE ligt in Nauta met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gratis shuttleservice, bar, tuin en terras. Er is gratis WiFi. Daniel was the best guide and very entertaining. The location and event planning was superb and exciting

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable.
