The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. The highlight of my stay was the incredible hospitality from the manager, Naqeeb. He was super helpful and friendly, even arranging a taxi for me when I needed it. The room was clean, hot water was always and free Wifi available, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Naqeeb really made me feel at home. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Skardu!

The hotel has a very unique interior and the big garden has great views over the mountains. Rooms were very clean and it was nice to have an airconditioner. "I had an incredible stay at Hounza Lounge! The room with a balcony offered breathtaking views of Rakaposhi and Diran Mountain – waking up to that scenery was a dream. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, making it feel like a true retreat. The staff were amazing, especially Amir, who was thoughtful and seemed to anticipate all my needs. I initially booked for one night but ended up staying for a month because of the peaceful atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Karimabad Bazaar. A special thank to the owner, Noushad, who went above and beyond to help me organize my trips, guide, taxidriver and make sure I had everything I needed. This is by far the most peaceful place in Karimabad, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"

We booked through Booking.com and they told us we were their first guests from the platform which was such a sweet surprise. To welcome us they beautifully decorated our room and left a very cute message for us it was such a thoughtful gesture. The service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the view from our window was truly beautiful. We felt very well taken care of and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay!

We loved the hotel for many reasons really. The views were the main attraction. But then the rooms and hotel were superb. The staff were super friendly and attentive to all our needs. The food was outstanding, so no need to explore other places to eat. As all their food is cooked to order, meaning it’s super fresh and organic. We also very much enjoyed the tours they organised for us. The driver and tour guide were amazing, and put the cherry on the cake for us. We had a great time at Skarchan, and are already looking forward to our next trip there.
