There was a bit of mold in the bathroom and that was honestly the only criticism I have. Breakfast, roominess, staff and everything else was very good.

We stayed at Bohinj River House before and after a multi day hike in the Julian Alps and it was the perfect base! The apartment and facilities are new, modern and very comfortable. We particularly loved the spa facilities and the wonderful inclusive breakfast. The staff were so kind and friendly and truly went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

From the moment we came into the hut, we felt like we had arrived home. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable- from providing the room before check in time to making us Kaiserschmarrn for desert! We loved the pleasant and warm atmosphere, the opportunity to enjoy local dishes with vegetarian options and witnessing the most stunning sunsets and sunrises. Also the cats were great companions! Exceptional design and architecture - combining old with the new. The whole vibe is very relaxing, perfect for couples and a weekend getaway. Spa is included with the room, it is very intimate and private, it makes you wanna stay longer. The food was awesome - dinner was on the highest level possible and don‘t be afraid you will be full at the end of the night; breakfast includes best Slovenian dishes and everyone can find something for themselves. The garden is beautiful!
