Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of mountain, Farmstay Hiša Pečovnik is situated in Luče, 45 km from Beer Fountain Žalec. This farm stay offers free private parking and luggage storage space. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. We left a piece of our heart at Hiša Pečovnik. The location is outstanding: On a mountain, surrounded by woods and with an incredible view. The house is really cozy, all wooden inside, both in the common areas and in the rooms, and very well looked after. The breakfast (included) and dinner (not included, but 100% recommended) are out of this world. They have a lot of local or auto-produced products and the cook is incredibly gifted. There also is a big fitness area, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna, which we had the chance to try and truly enjoyed. Nearby there are many beautiful things to visit, such as the Logarska Dolina, Velika Planina and much more (Slovenian Alps are breathtaking). But what truly makes this place one in a million is the Pečovnik family. They are the kindest hosts imaginable: always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely sweet. We’ve just left, and we’re already dreaming of coming back as soon as possible!

At the apartment complex, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. incredible location; spectacular hiking right from the front door, well equipped (just bring instant coffee as we didn’t find a coffee maker).

Nice place to stay if you want to explore Logar valley and Velika Planina as both are less than 30 min drive away. Friendly host, we even got a welcoming gift. And not to forget cute dog Kala that greeted us every time. The issue with glass door described in some of the comments is now fixed. Definitely recommend staying here.

The spacious homestay comes with a cable flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are provided in the homestay. The accommodation is non-smoking. The host was very helpful. We messaged her to ask for a lot things and she replied to it promptly. The stay was also very comfortable. The place has all the things anyone could ask for. She happily agreed for the breakfast at 12 noon as we were tired the night we reached and next day was working so had just the time around 12 for meal. She also asked us to take the left bread with us to the room for later. It was very humble of her as due to working day, we didn’t have time to go anywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! We were offered a delicious welcome drink on our arrival of a homemade blueberry liquor. The breakfast was outstanding, including jams, yogurt, honey, meats, and cheese made by the hosts themselves. They also offered a cooked portion of eggs and pancakes. The coffee station was outstanding. If I could have the breakfast every day, I would! You can also pay separately to eat here for dinner. The menu features local cuts of many meats and was also absolutely delicious. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Even though I saw only the two owners while here, it was supremely clean throughout the place. The view of the river and surrounding area is lovely, and each room features a balcony. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you take advantage of it!
