Bayhouse Comfortel Hualien Hostel is located a 8-minute walk from Hualien Train Station and Hualien Transportation Bus Station. Chihsingtan is 10 minutes' drive away while Cingshuei Cliff is 30 minutes' car journey away. Very comfortable, clean, good facilities, wasn’t missing anything. Great location close to the train and bus station as well, and the host is lovely, speaks english very well and has a lot of recommendations.

A 15-minute drive from Hualien City, it has 3 dining options. the management was there waiting for us when we arrived, was very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay very pleasant: they took us to our room, they welcomed us in the dining room with a warm welcome speech, the food was delicious specially the duck was amazing, there was a soprano singer of very high level which gave a wonderful atmosphere during dinner, there was also a scientist on the roof top to give explanation about the stars and the telescope,... I think I can say we have never been welcomed so warmly in a hotel

The staff was extremely nice; even though English was not their strength, they were always available to help us and meet our needs. They offered us free snacks throughout the stay, which was very much appreciated. The location is ok, you have everything you need just a few minutes of walk away.
