The entirety of the lodge is situated on a hill side with immaculate views of the Ngorogoro forest and surrounding areas. Everyone who works on the property is extremely kind and gracious, and helpful in anyway, you could ask for. The food prepared for all meals was delicious, and they even made us lunches for our safari. Everything was exactly as described and I cannot recommend this place enough, I hope to come back one day.

Die Tanzanice Farm Lodge begrüßt Sie auf einem 16 Hektar großen, bewirtschafteten Bauernhof, 4 km von der Stadt Karatu entfernt. Location is in a beautiful green area. Stuff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms and everything are very clean. Breakfast and dinner are very tasteful.

Die in Mto wa Mbu gelegene Unterkunft Jangwani River View Suits bietet kostenloses WLAN und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz sowie Zugang zu einem Whirlpool. We had a change in our travel itinerary, but the hotel staff took us in on short notice. Even though it was already dark they gave us a tour through the banana plantation. We even got to try the fruits at the local market. Afterwards we ended the night with a drink in one of the pubs around the hotel. There we experienced the life, music and drinks of Tanzania. We really appreciated the time that was spent with us. Breakfast was good, WiFi worked, the rooms were adequate and clean.

Well what can I say, Elephant Lodge is fantastic. It is actually nicer than the pictures, even though the pictures are pretty spectacular. The location is brilliant - it is a few minutes drive from the entrance to Tarangire National Park. You do have to pay a fee for staying in the conservation area but that is a Government fee, not a hotel fee, and it's not a prohibitive cost. The accommodation was beautiful with a lovely rooftop terrace. The food was delicious and really well presented. The gym has everything you would need for a workout and the swimming pool was gorgeous. The Manager is a big hearted, funny and charming chap with an interest in conservation and luxury tourism and one foot firmly in both camps, and he does a great job of combining both. He is very present in order to ensure guests have the best experience. His team of staff are exceptional. Guests are allocated one main person to look after them and it works really well (Lillian was our person - and she was so lovely, cheerful, accommodating attentive without being intrusive.) The watering hole is right next main area of the accommodation and is frequently visited by elephants and other animals (as the name suggests). All of our party loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. It made a fantastic trip extra special. Thank you for the memories, we will never forget it.

Sehr schöne geräumige tolle Unterkunft. Wir hatten nur Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht, konnten dann aber auch dinner zubuchen und es kam extra jemand der für uns sehr lecker gekocht hat. Fantastisch. Leider hatten wir nur Zeit für 1 Übernachtung

Die in Makuyuni gelegene Unterkunft Maasai Eco Boma & Lodge - Experience Maasai Culture bietet kostenloses WLAN und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz. So ein netter Empfang mit Maasai Gesängen und kulturellem Lernen der Kultur. Authentische Erfahrung und lustige Gesellschaft mit in der lokalen Community. Die Hütten selbst waren echt urig und doch super komfortabel. Spaß haben auch die Maasai Tänze beim Lagerfeuer und der Besuch des Dorfes, inklusive einer Schulung des lokalen Medizinmannes ;-)

Die Unterkunft Mwi Village House, die in Mto wa Mbu gelegen ist, bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosem WLAN einer Klimaanlage und Zugang zu einem Garten. Mwi ein außergewöhnlicher Mensch, sehr freundlich, flexibel und hilfreich. Er hat sich sehr bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Zimmer als einzelne Gebäude urig und spezielle Atmosphäre. Essen nach Wunsch und sehr gut. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft Manyara's Secret mit Seeblick in Mto wa Mbu bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einer Terrasse, einem Restaurant und einer Bar. Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Lake Manyara. Wir haben dort 2 Nächte unserer Hochzeitsreise verbracht. Das Essen ist sehr fein und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
