Very chill atmosphere, lots of little touches that made the stay very nice. My wife loved having a yoga mat available in the morning. Easy to reach from the airport. House located on the hill, surrounded by amazing nature, with a good swimming pool. Extremely peaceful and quiet place.Our room was decorated with taste, and we had a fan and air-conditioning. Windows was protected, so no bugs were entering inside. The kitchen was outside of the balcony, which made my breakfast even more incredibly pleasent as I could see birds and butterflies and feel the fresh hawaian breeze. The place was very clean. The bathroom, although shared, was vast and had all the necessary stuff, even suncream and aloe vera gel to help our skin after being exposed to the sun. Tha was a really nice touch.! Host was very polite, helpful and nice. We truly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to everyone.

The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.
