The house was clean, great wifi, and a lot of furniture was handmade. Summer was available and very willing to talk about anything, really enjoyed our talks. Can't recommend this place enough!

Originally, we came to this area for one night to relax from the hustle and bustle of Saigon, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying for two nights. The place is truly magical, and you will hardly see any tourists here—only kind, smiling local people and plenty of fruit, especially coconuts. Thuan is a very friendly and caring person. He speaks perfect English, which really helped us to get at least a glimpse of the local culture and way of life, especially during a private trip on the Mekong River, which I highly recommend. The next day, we went on a bike ride and visited a local coconut processing workshop (nothing goes to waste here). One of the most unforgettable moments was when we visited local school children—it was an incredible experience that touched our hearts. Whenever we were hungry, his sister Thuy cooked us excellent Pho or fried spring rolls at her restaurant. We are glad we chose this place and we hope to return here in the future. The host - Amy - also explained how she prepared the food and the culture behind the dishes. The environment was magical. An oasis of calm in the coconut forests (although the neighbors love their daily karaoke) 😂 This is what want a homestay should be if you are looking to de connect from the city and be immersed in nature and tranquility. Finally the boat tour was full on adventure. Pushed me out of my comfort zone and I'm very grateful for it ! Plus the cats there are adorable and love cuddles. The dog - Noddy - too but I'm a cat person. Perfect homestay experience 10/10.

This place is awesome ! the family that owns this homestay is lovely and super helpful, they told us a lot about Ben Tre, gave us some tips for restaurants and things to do around the area. We also had dinner there, the food was delicious and we had enough to eat to sleep with a very full and happy stomac. I highly recommend staying there, it's bordering the river. + they have an awesome dog ! very good quality/price ratio. Also, we had a friend with a visa issue and she helped us calling offices to find a solution.

We enjoyed it from the time we began. Run by mother and son who are extremely helpful. Arranged lifts for us once the bus delivered us to Ben tré from Ho Chi Minh which took away all of our stress of that. The mother cooked us a beautiful meal for dinner and breakfast with big portions!! It was delicious.The mother couldn’t have done more for us! We got caught in a down pour in town and she came on us and gave us both a lift back to the house. Really was a great experience.

Our host Tai and his family were warm and welcoming. We were able to rent a scooter and he allowed us to use his bicycles. Tai also helped us with anything we needed arranged.
