The hotel is excellent—spacious and well-equipped. The kitchenettes are fully stocked, and the air conditioning works perfectly. While the location is a bit far, we appreciated the quiet atmosphere within the city. Our room was upgraded, thanks to Amisha, who assisted us wonderfully and was very accommodating, even during the busy Eid period at reception. Breakfast was decent, though I’d rate it 3/5.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) Information

Location and Transport

Located 3 miles (5 kilometres) east of the city centre, Dubai International Airport sees around 83 million passengers pass through its gates each year, making it the busiest airport in the world. It’s well connected by public transport. Metro trains run roughly every ten minutes to/from Terminals 1 and 3, while buses stop opposite Terminal 1, 2 and 3. Taxis carry an AED 25 standard charge from the airport, with a journey time of around 15 minutes.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

Passengers with scheduled layovers or unexpected delays can find accommodation in Dubai International Airport or in nearby districts like Garhoud and Port Saeed. Some hotels provide a pick-up shuttle service. Before takeoff, you can enjoy some retail therapy in the duty-free shopping area, explore international cuisines, or relax in tranquil spaces like massage parlours and zen gardens. Dubai always amazes me. The growth is mind blowing. So much to see. A very diversed food scene. The small businesses in Old Dubai take so much pride in their food and it is delicious. Great tourist attractions. Amazed with the amount of greenery. It will forever be the vacation destination for me. My wife didn’t want to leave. Dubai is very safe, even in the older areas. Deira, Al Satwa, and Bur Dubai is a must visit. I love being with the locals. The shawarma’s are mouth watering. The fresh baked bread from the tandoor are amazing. The Filipino food and the night markets are great. The fresh juices is a must try. The tarak chai tea is very addicting. Dubai is very walkable and I did a lot of walking because I ate a lot of food. I love riding the metro bus and train. The Desert Safari was great. So many great shopping malls, too many to name. Every neighborhood have a shopping malls. The Dubai fish market is a must try. Zagol Ethiopian Restaurant is a must try, a true hidden gem. Al Ustad Special Kabad is a must try. New Papilas Cafe and Restaurant is a must try.

Sharjah is good for travelers who would like to visit Dubai and stay in cheaper options. There are very good food options for all the nationalities. I will definitely stay long again when I get a chance.

I stayed in Ajman for two nights last week, and really enjoyed it. It’s a nice and busy city with a good beach and many shops offering reasonable prices. The only issue I noticed was the traffic during peak times.

I did not stay in the property for even a single night.

I did not stay in the property for even a single night. Upon arrival, I was met with an unbearable and unhygienic smell that made the apartment completely unlivable. I immediately returned the keys at check-in. Because of this, I was forced to secure alternative accommodation at additional personal expense, through no fault of my own. Despite the situation being reported immediately, neither the property owner nor Booking.com has provided any refund whatsoever. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of responsibility and customer care. I feel cheated, ignored, and taken advantage of by both the owner and Booking.com. The handling of this issue has been extremely unprofessional, and I am demanding a full and immediate resolution.

Small city with all facilities available. Economical than Dubai. Ample shopping centers and restaurants to hang out! Love to go back and chill whenever want to relax! Good beaches and there is a walking bay around the beach also!

What I liked most in Dubai was Ski Dubai.

What I liked most in Dubai was Ski Dubai. It was our first time skiing, and the trainers were very helpful and supportive. The experience was extremely enjoyable and fun, and it definitely made us want to continue skiing in the future.

Sharjah adjoins Dubai in the UAE but there is no interconnecting public transport so you must rely on taxis (more expensive) or Uber (better choice). People in Sharjah were quite friendly, more so than Dubai although again people were not unfriendly. While there are some interesting sites to visit, it is not as grand or varied as Dubai. That said, Dubai not that special either! Not somewhere I'll be rushing back to, but if there had not been a conference to attend, I probably wouldn't have gone there in the first place.

We didn't do much as this was a break on a trip back from Australia just to chill out. But if you want a quiet holiday this is the place nand if you want to visit the big shopping malls in Sharjah and Dubai the hotel offered free shuttle buses to both
