I loved my stay at the Bairnsdale Main Motel - a classic, old-school "mom and pop" style motel, which I just love! I had the pleasure of meeting with and talking with the fantastic host, a really good man with a heart of gold. The room was cosy, quiet, clean and very comfortable, and I slept really well there. It had everything I needed for a self-catered stay, and I particularly appreciated the microwave in the shared area. I highly recommend a visit to nearby Raymond Island for koala-spotting if one is in the area for tourism. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

The Home Sweet Home, a property with a garden, is situated in Bairnsdale, 18 km from Slip Bight Marina, 31 km from Metung Yacht Club Marina, as well as 37 km from Lakes Entrance Marina. We loved the location, we stayed in this town because we had a wedding in Granite Rock and it is very close to pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, everything within walking distance, we really liked the neighborhood because it was very quiet and without noise, we slept really well. The quality of the beds and the pillows as well as the sheets, was excellent. We love having coffee in the morning, thank you for that, it was a nice detail on your part.

Featuring a bar, Grand Terminus Hotel is located in Bairnsdale in the Victoria region, 400 metres from Bairnsdale Train Station and 17 km from Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club. The hotel is completely refurbished and modernised. We had two rooms, one came with a kitchenette and the other one was a regular twin. The kitchenette had everything one might have wanted, the usual toaster, kettle and microwave, the modern bathroom offered a washing machine and dryer. The beds were super comfy. The nice thing about the hotel was its central location and easy accessible street parking opposite the hotel. The restaurant offered a wide selection of food.
