The location was amazing in beautiful, peaceful Nepean Bay. The home was modern, spotless and so well appointed. Everyone agreed that the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed. We had numerous koalas come to visit during our week long stay including mums and babies. We got to see Glossy Black Cockatoos in the backyard trees and from the balcony. Only 15 mins from Kingscote, it really was a home away from home.

A beautiful spot to relax and unwind. The cabin was very clean and Brett was a great host checking we had everything we needed. He advised us on places to visit and was even kind enough to drop us off and pick up from the local KI Spirits, definately going above and beyonds his duties. The town is 5 mins away, so easy access to get groceries and go out for a meal. Definately recommend.

I recently har the pleasure of staying at Brett’s Rest Nel for a weekend getaway and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, brett was there to welcome us went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The facility has a projector and sound system which was amazing and we loved spending our evenings with watching movies and music.

Craig was a wonderful host. We got lost heading there at night and he helped us get settled. His recommendations were also spot on and we managed to see all the wildlife in the area, whether in the trees on the property (koalas, Kimmy, Jimmy, and Ducky) or on the coast (dolphins). Would highly recommend this property and any other the other CandE properties on the island. Tips for travelling to KI: - No small car hire even if your party is small - gravel roads for some of the prettiest locations. - Get the KI tourist booklet at the airport - only Telstra gets connection, so the island map is a lifesaver. - Definitely reach out to Craig for island recommendations :)

Had washing machine and dryer which was helpful. Plenty of games including a pool table was an added attraction. No breakfast was provided. But the property is only 6 minutes away from shops and 24/7 petrol station.

It was very private with views of the water and gorgeous surrounding bush lands. We found getting around the island from this location incredibly easy and Kingscote town centre is just 7 minutes drive from here. The kangaroos and bird life that visited each day were amazing. We had dinner on the deck each night surrounded by kangaroos. The property itself is stylish, extremely comfortable and architecturally stunning. It was such a relaxing haven and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
