Reliable airport pickup, included in price. I arrived late at night, had trouble exchanging/withdrawing cash and thanks to the guesthouse staff, I was able to handle everything efficiently. I could pay by visa card and they helped me withdraw money in the morning. The accomodation was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good (omelette+coffee) and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Karls Guesthouse was perfect for our extended stay in Cotonou. The room was a good size, clean, with a comfortable bed and nice desk to work at (the small, colorful birds visiting the garden outside the window was an added bonus). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and several nice restaurants, cafes, and shops are nearby. We hope to be back one day!

Everything is nice, nice location, nice staff, nice food, except mosquitoes are too much and there is no A/C in the room and even the whole place. This is an extension from the beach cafe. It exactly locate in the beach.
If A/C is installed in the future, definitely I like to visit again.

Great location. Not too busy but still had some nice restaurants within walking distance. The wifi was super fast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were drinks for a decent price available. The hotel staff even booked me a taxi for the day for a good price to get out to Ganvie.

Most of the iconic sites to see are not too far away, including the beach! The city is generally clean and relatively low cost on transport if you use the local taxi apps; Motorcycles are as many as the population of people!
We only stayed one day so definitely too short to give a complete review. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cotonou and highly recommend it as a tour destination.

Nature as it is. Almost no impact of the environment. It is possible to enjoy the wildlife of the place, just as it is. Lizards, crabs, and water vegetation are the main vieuw, plus lots of coco palms, mango trees, and other cultivated ones. The nights are silent and in the morning it is possible to awaken with the sounds of some birds in the lake. You sit for eating or relaxing in little huts surrounded by the lake.
