New and modern with great facilities. The gym and pool are fantastic and rooms modern spacious and very comfortable. There is also a Starbucks and Boston Pizza onsite.

It's not far from the Walmart (went there a lot) but a real patient long ride to downtown Toronto especially during rush hour. Wonderland was not too far for the kids. Bowling alley and Movie cinema were close. Cooked food every day so don't know what the local cuisine was like. Really felt safe driving and walking around the neighborhoods and Markham.

The location was great and close to what we wanted to do, malls and wonderland. The number of bedrooms was perfect. It was a nice touch to have stuffies for the younger kids. But the house was rundown. AC took 2 days to cool off house/propped open, garbage was a daily mess outside (not even our garbage). Other guests shared the house....awkward. sheets were used from second hand store (price tag still on sheet) water leaked from 3rd floorbath to second floor bed thru the light. Holes in wall. Nails sticking out of floor stairs and couch. Unusable and insufficient dirty dishes. No freezer. Unsafe 3rd floor, no railings at stairs. Was told it would be perfect for the 3 under 5yrs old. Urine on wall beside toilet. Broken washer dryer dishwasher and coffee machine. 3 coffee cups for 9 adults......we could not and would not cook there.

I am dissatisfaction extremely , the bath no shampoo no conditioner .the personel in front desk has not provide complete information . the wifi not working in room the last one i undrestood 2 times charges deducted my account its awful service , i check out july 13 and now july 16 deducted hotel charges yesterday night when i call no explantion . what are you doing with such services ............

Banged my foot on the door stop 3 times and so did my grandchildren. Breakfast could have been better.

The free Wi-Fi and the free parking for guest. Not so many hotels would offer such for free. My stay was rather short considering I had only 9 days to spend. I visited some Malls for shopping, though it was rather cold for me.

Lovely little room.
Lovely little room. My room was in excellent condition - like brand new!
Bathroom was great as well. Completely spotless, good sized shower and excellent water pressure.
The hotel is also within walking distance to several stores, restaurants and coffee shops.
It was an extremely affordable alternative to staying in Toronto for those who don't mind a short drive to the city.
I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on future trips.

This hotel's staff were audaciously asking for 20% tips at breakfast. When we carried no cash, we were even ask to charge it to our room service bills. We are a senior couple travelling from U.S. and this was our first and last time to Hilton Garden Inn at Markham (Highway 7 and Highway 404). Very bad experience.

Vaughan is a great option for Toronto travelers. It is VERY easy to get downtown on the TTC subway from here. The price is WAY better, and ease of getting around is better too, especially with the current state of construction downtown. Lots of shopping nearby, and it's so easy getting in and out of town on the 407.

Markham is a district developed a little north of Toronto, once a separate community but now built up all the way. It is a vibrant location with malls, entertainment, first class sport and medical facilities and good communication networks.

Charming area, many restaurants we were not able to try on this visit, but will visit again. Staked Pancake was great for breakfast. Chef Riza Persian Grill was also excellent. Minimal construction for summer time and easy to get around to visiting destinations in downtown Toronto.
