Very comfortable, quiet space with a well appointed kitchenette and access to a washer and dryer. Good location to some sites and good restaurants. There is also a Mall and a Fresh Market close by. The employees on premise were very helpful if needed, especially with directions!!

We loved the quiet.
We loved the quiet.
It was a short drive to a park by the river.
There were quite a few restaurants near by, all of them good.
Our motel was on one of the main streets so it was easy to get to things. Many we could walk to.

A wonderful place that has historical sites, modern amenities, and friendly people. We visited the Reversing Falls, ate at Beer Bread Pizza (absolutely fantastic pizzas) and spent the evening listening to music in the Market square outside of our hotel . On our second day in Saint John we met up with family and walked through the visited the City Market, the Container Village and ate at Steamers Lobster Co. great food will definitely eat there again! I can't forget to mention the Market Square that is full of shops and places to eat or stop for a rest! All this right outside our Hilton Hotel.

Don't miss the reversible river.
Don't miss the reversible river. But be prepared, it takes longer to reverse (hours) than you want to wait. But coming at high tide you will clearly see the river run backwards (and for hours before or aftter.)

I had not been back to Saint John in 30 years.
I had not been back to Saint John in 30 years. The city has not changed very much. It looks like the Harbour area has been enhanced for all the cruise ships coming into port. It appeared that the city has a problem with homeless (as do most cities these days). There were many tent camps around town. We used the town as a hub for bird watching around the area. There is a beautiful park just at the edge of town to the west. The Saint John - Irving Nature Park is a fabulous place to take a walk in the woods and along the coast.
