It’s no longer exclusively gay, but I don’t think that really matters much as long as it’s welcoming to gay people. The rooms are very nice, the staff is excellent, local people show up at least on the weekend to use the bar, And it’s close to a number of restaurants. (I highly recommend Yurgos Peruvian restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. Superb food). If you want to go into downtown San Jose, it’s about a five dollar cab ride.
