Location is good - far away from city noise and dusty traffic. Despite the fact the airfield is "one click away" I had a very good night sleep. The room has good curtains that preserve darkness even under bright sun. Ventilation system is superb - the air inside always was fresh & cool, no need to use air-condition.,
Also I really enjoyed the breakfast.
P.S. You can leave some fruits/vegetables in nearby thickets for bunnies who live there. I'm serious.

I used the hotel as a base to travel around eastern Germany, and the location was perfect for that. There are plenty of good eating options nearby even if one is not in the Leipzig city center. The internet was outstanding, and that was a relief as I'd moved from a property where the internet was too slow for me to be able to do my job remotely. The staff were excellent. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Everything was great, and I felt very welcome.

This isn't my first review, I've stayed here a fair few times. I find it a good stopover point between Prague and Rotterdam for the ferry to England. Getting there from the motorway takes about 3 minutes. There is plenty of parking either in the courtyard of the property or on-street just outside. The neighbourhood is really quiet. Check-in is easy via a machine.
I more or less keep leaving the same review for this place every time I stay, which probably means that the owners are maintaining the same high standards.

This new concept is excellent for solo travellers wanting to get a good night's rest, without having to drive far into town and not wanting to spend a fortune. The room, while being small, is very functional with everything available that one needs for an overnight stay. The bed was super comfy. The shower was of high standard. Air conditioning worked like a charm, easily adjusting the in-room temperature as required. Even though the container is located close to the airport and motorway, the sound insulation is very good and one is not disturbed by noise. I will definitely stay at Roatel again on a future trip.

Leipzig-Halle Airport is situated 14 miles (22 kilometres) from Leipzig and 17 miles (28 kilometres) from Halle, in the town of Schkeuditz. To get there, hop on the train at Leipzig’s central station to ‘Leipzig/Halle Flughafen’, which runs every 30 minutes, or reserve an airport shuttle bus in advance for a more comfortable journey. We stayed 1 night traveling through.
We stayed 1 night traveling through. We had two rooms for 2 adults plus 3 children. Very good location close to hoghway. Good price-quality offer. It was possible to check in late, good communication beforehand via telephone. The rooms were small but cosy and they had everything we needed: beds, own toilet and shower, enough blankets and towels. We were satisfied.

I was lucky to be able to book in a concert at Gewandhaus, a lovely experience. And a delightful walk with Free Walking Tours, emphasising particularly the music history. I chose Leipzig as a stopover between Berlin and Frankfurt where I had to catch a plane. Leipzig has a good vibe, and cheaper to stay than Berlin.

A young, vibrant city with an active cultural scene as well as plenty of interesting history.
Very reasonably priced for a European city stay with plenty of good value food and drinks options and free museums .
If you enjoy getting away from the main tourist traps but still want plenty to see and , do Leipzig is highly recommended.
