It was very clean and had everything we needed! We only stayed shortly for one night for an early morning flight from Weeze. We arrived after check-in time of 22:00 which wasn’t an issue. The room had a key safe outside to which the owner gave us the code.
Lovely shower which made us feel refreshed before leaving to the airport! Our car could stay safely on the free parking - also very convenient.

Staff were accommodating, given how late we arrived. We added breakfast for the morning and it was lovely.
The lady was very kind and chatty.
The hotel itself was basic, traditional and cute.

Amazing! Wunderbar! A real small room with unique bathroom. No kitchen but made due with tea and water tasted amazing! Best in Germany! No chlorine!
Ate out at the restaurant a few doors down and loved the family owned atmosphere with friendly chef who made a vegan salad for me. Very rare and tasted so good with a light Deutschland Bier. Highly recommend you stay here to explore Weeze. I will be back. Great rest and break from city hostels with blinds to sleep in.
P.S. if you want to sleep in, bring headphones. My alarm for 7 am on Monday was out classed by the church bells one street away. Ringing was a beautiful reasonance for 2 minutes.

The room which was rather an apartment was spacious and has a nice view. Very comfortable bed. Very beautiful surrounding and the Schloss . Unfortunately you cannot enter and explore it inside. I thought it is a museum but not.

Weeze Airport (NRN) is just over 2 miles (4 kilometres) from Weeze and just over 4 miles (7 kilometres) from Kevelaer. It’s set on the German border with The Netherlands, so it offers lots of direct connections to further-afield cities including Düsseldorf, Cologne and Utrecht. The airport provides shuttle buses during the day to Weeze and Kevelaer stations, where the twice-hourly RE10 Düsseldorf train departs.

There are a couple of hotels with shuttle services just over a mile (2 kilometres) from the airport, if you need a place to stay between flights. It's a small pilgrimage city with chapels and a basilque church, if you like the atmosphere it's a nice place to be. Nearby you have also Irrland, childrens playpark, also Kalkar and Kleve are all near. plenty to do all within 15-30 minutes drives.

Nice little German town. Seems to have all the normal facilities. Close to the Dutch border. Normal for older German towns, the one-way streets can be confusing but that's about the same every-where.

I just cycled through the village.
I just cycled through the village. It was sunday and very quiet. I ate at the restaurant De Vier Linden and the food was awesome! It's easy to get around Vierlingsbeek for me since I was on the bicycle.

One night in this hotel was plenty.
One night in this hotel was plenty. It feels like a detention centre. Weeze town is only a couple of km away with much prettier hotels that may have some facilities. Best deal did not even have vending machines for snacks or refreshments, and without a car its difficult to get to weeze. The bus runs once an hour and stops at 17.30.

it was 2 nights stay in Kevelaer and on the 2nd day dedicated to worship GOD by participating 2x the holy masses, 1x rosary pray, visit the main church , in between lunch in e the Golden Swan restaurant, which is very good taste. in Parkhotel we got the simple buffet breakfast, but it is satisfied not a lavished one of course .
I highly recommend Park Hotel with very good location and cleanliness.

The city center is really nice.
The city center is really nice. We lived in the Netherlands for some years and this city reminded us of the freshness of Dutch cities.
We tried some restaurants there, but the one that really surprised us is "La Friterie": the owners are really nice, they make real German specialities at a very affordable price. The restaurant is also charming for its location and the decoration inside.

A small village that is quiet and pretty. Some interesting buildings to see and the area around it is famland and some forests. Lots of excellent walking routes with information and signage. One of the more prettier parts of the Netherlands.

Wonderful little hotel about 20mins from Weeze airport.
Wonderful little hotel about 20mins from Weeze airport. Great staff very helpful and room and breakfast was just perfect. The only downside was the main train line to Düsseldorf was under maintenance so we had to replan our journey but hotel helped with advice.
