Set in Tallinn, Mercure Tallinn offers accommodation with a fitness center, free private parking, a shared lounge, and a restaurant. Very close to the airport, hence we booked it for our last night so that we could leave for the airport early in the morning next day. The generally charge for an early check-in. But for us, they waived it off. We checked-in 2 hours early. It was very helpful.

Conveniently located in the Lasnamae district of Tallinn, Tallinn Airport Stay is set 1.8 km from Tallinn International Bus Station, 3.7 km from Estonian National Opera and 4.3 km from Maiden Tower. The hotel was easy to find, and it indeed has 24t reception. Everything was neat and clean. The interior was new and fresh. Very friendly stuff helped me to bring my 23-kg bag up to the second floor, and back next day, explaining that there was no elevator. I was alone in a big room with 2 beds, 2 wardrobes, 2 desks with chairs. Also linen on the bed was new. I was supposed to share the shower with another room, but in fact used it alone. It had warm floor and a new shining simple shower. The wi-fi was overall fast, and enough for a video-call. In the hall of my floor, there was a table with a cattle, microwave, coffee-machine cups and some tea, coffee and sugar. There was quiet and comfortable everywhere. It was my best stay for many years.

Boasting city views, ATK Apartment T1 Airport Bus Station offers accommodation with a balcony, around 2.4 km from Russalka Beach. I absolutely loved the flat itself. What truly stood out to me, though, was the exceptional level of care from the host. They thoughtfully checked in on me when I was arriving late, concerned that I might be having trouble finding the keys. I really appreciate that kind of attentiveness and kindness.

That everything in the apartment worked beautifully and was modern. I had everything there that I needed how do I wanted to stay permanently. The city itself was safe and very close to the airport. If I could afford to live here I would buy an apartment there :-)
I was in Tallinn on a business trip, but in the evenings I had the chance to walk around the city. It is a very beautiful place with plenty of options for good food, nice bars, and authentic spots to explore.
My stay was only for 2 full days, which I spent entirely exploring the Old City., so much history, if that is your interest. I think 2 more days to explore the rest of the city and surrounds is needed. Cheaper than Finland and Norway. Take an umbrella as it is inclined to be wet.
A lovely city. The old medieval center is delightful, but do venture further afield. We ate at Barbarea in a repurposed warehouse in the old Navy yards (very good, and interesting location) and at the Fotografiska restaurant (superb) as well as taking the tram to Kumi, the Art Museum that is not to be missed (with excellent cafe for lunch). Kadriog Park through which we walked to get to Kumi is lovely too, with a Peter the Great Palace to admire as well. Do go to the City Market on the other side of the train station from the old city - amazing fresh produce stalls, older ladies with hand knitted items, antique stalls on the 2nd floor, great food stalls on 1st floor, Back in the old city, don't skip the Esti handicraft stores, and for wonderful linens, yarns and other crafts do stop by Domus Line, and finish with afternoon tea with the locals at Rukis. A tour from a local guide is a good choice on the first day to get oriented and learn the history of this exquisite place. Those medieval streets can be confusing at first!
Tallinn might be the city I have visited the most times by choice. It is small enough that a weekend feels sufficient to see a lot of it, while making one want to go back for more. If you like dumplings, you have to try those at Pelmen kohvik. I drop by there every time I go to Tallinn.
Quite a bit to walk around and see, have to pay for most toilets, quite a few shopping centres if you seek them out. I did the main bits in a day and a half, all on foot - some very tourists places to eat which are not worth the money. Locals are generally rude, not actively rude just mono - english is spoken less than i thought especially older people.
