We reserved this property at the very las minute when our flight was cancelled. And we were super happy about our decision because this place exceeded our expectations. All the facilities are there. Beautiful view. 8-10 min walking from Aldi supermarket. Private parking is available on-site without extra costs.

The hostess was very welcoming and friendly, also informative and helped me get a taxi with my average spanish and her little english, super helpful. Bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. The property is very close to the beautiful historical area, which has many options for food and drink.

Nice Place, was clean and had all necessary facilities. Kitchen, fridge, toilets and showers... all Great. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the Bedrook for belongings. Cleaner was also very friendly and helpful.

The city consists of three parts.
The city consists of three parts. The historic part with beautiful and charming streets. The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. Lots of opportunities for good food.

Good location for exploring the north of Tenerife.
Good location for exploring the north of Tenerife. Close to airport and to the city but also rural. Several restaurants and a relaxed small town atmosphere. Typical Canarian town. Some small roads but all fine with a satnav. We selected this area specifically to spend a couple of days exploring the forests and Teide by car.
The cafe/cake store is great (weekends) and we enjoyed a very good steak at Bodega Campestre. Great for a couple of nights. We coupled it with a night in La Leguna for an awesome bolt of culture.

I stayed in Laguna duriing the Santa Cruz carnival and found buses ran between towns all night. Lovely university town with wonderful buildings and streets and a real cafe culture . A small town market next to one of the beautiful churches is worth checking out.

The city is close to the Airport North, Tacoronte, La Laguna and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Anaga, Teide National Park are accessible as well. The Forestal Park is next to the city which contains big, ancient pine trees, I recommend it to hike. The city is also nice small but has many possibilities: markets, shops, bars, restaurants. If you like a small city which surrounded by pineforest and not so warm during the summer (800-900m above sea level) then it is your destination.

A town with some kind of nostalgic vibe due to it`s microclimate and furious ocean.
The most exciting element of Bajamar - it`s natural swimming pools and some kind of lighthouse. It depends on a hour of the day - if you will swim in a calm water or in a stormy (low tide and high tide).
Especially loved the sunset hour near the oceanside and late lunches at Surf Cafe.
Bajamar can be also a great base to stay if you want to go exploring Anaga Park and La Laguna, etc.

San Cristobal de la Laguna is a beautiful city full of history and with a great vibe. You can walk around town easily and safely. From there you can drive to mount Teide through the road La Esperanza (means hope) which provide gorgeous views of the seaside and of mount Teide. It is also a short drive away from historical towns.

There really isn’t much to Bajamar, other than hanging around the salt pools when the tide agreed. The town itself is poorly upkept with lots of condo complexes requiring an overhaul or at least a paint job!
