Orly war der Startpunkt für eine Städtereise. Mehr nicht. Ich hätte nicht mehr als eine Nacht bleiben wollen. War nicht ohne zum Hotelzimmer zu kommen und wer Platz braucht ist dort falsch. Wer sich vor Ort auskennt, hat es leichter. Für Erstbesucher ist es eine Lehre.

Das Hotel war sehr neu und interessant ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Frühstücksraum bietet vielfältige Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Zimmer sind, typisch IBIS, recht klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist gut und gerade zum Flughafen Orly optimal.

Trotz der Großstadt gab es mehrere Parks, die jedoch mit Hunden nicht nutzbar waren ( auch nicht mit Leine!!) Gegend ist nicht sehr sehenswert, aber zentral gelegen im Süden von Paris!

Athis Mons ist mit seiner Nähe zum Orly Aéroport eine gute Wahl. Die Zimmer gepflegt, der Empfang an der Rezeption freundlich. Das Frühstück einfach aber o.k. Insgesamt war es für uns optimal. Kleiner Einkauf im Carrefour gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und am Abend ein reichhaltiges und geschmacklich hervorragendes Essen im Pedra Alta, das gerade um die Ecke liegt und ebenso ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet. Natürlich wer mit der Bahn anreist und per Flugzeug in die Karibik fliegt, benötigt ein Taxi. Wer länger in Paris weilen will, sollte sich einen Leihwagen nehmen, denn Metro oder Busverbindung ist nicht so optimal. In jedem Fall würden wir das Athis Mons wieder buchen.

Ich habe das Hotel gewählt um einen frühen Flug von Orly aus, zu erreichen. Die Anreise über Metro 7-Villejuif ist einfach, da nach den Treppenstufen im Gare de L'Est keine weiteren Barrieren mehr kommen und die Koffer gerollt werden können. Nicht erschrecken, das Hotel sieht von außen aus, als ob es demnächst aufgegeben werden soll:) Das Zimmer sauber, das Bett hatte eine gute Matratze und saubere Wäsche und war überraschend ruhig, obwohl das Hotel mitten im Industriezentrum liegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Shuttleservice zum Flughafen war pünktlich und der Fahrer angenehm. Das Restaurant sah sehr sauber aus und das Frühstück ausreichend.

Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise, das Hotel eignet sich aber auch sehr gut, wenn man eine Städtereise nach Paris macht, perfekte Lage, man ist von der Autobahn sofort da und kann mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Stadt.
