This newly refurbished 4-star Manchester Airport hotel is superbly located within the airport complex, and within 20 minutes’ drive of Manchester city centre. The hotel is very close to the airport but the room was quiet. It was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful.

Situated in Hale, 11 km from Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens, Clayton Hotel, Manchester Airport features accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great location, within super easy walking distance from Terminal 1. You could also walk over just to get a snack or warm meal, or something from the little Spar there. Which is what I did because I didn't want to go to the restaurant. They also have click and collect at the restaurant, which I absolutely would have done had I been there more than one night. Super friendly reception - easy check in and I could just check out online and drop my key at the front door when I left. Everything was there that I needed, coffee and tea, hairdryer and plenty of fresh towels. The bed was super duper comfortable. One good, but unusual happening was that the front desk called me in tthe early evening to see if everything was okay. Strange because that has literally never happened to me before, but I suppose part of their service?

Set in the heart of Manchester International Airport complex, DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport is walkable to each terminal or just a 5 minutes’ drive away. Very clean facilities, beds were really comfortable, very friendly staff, good brekfast and good restaurant. Will come again if I’m in the area.
