I booked this property midnight before arrival as a last-minute break. I had all information sent within 20 minutes of booking regarding keysafe, amenities, general information, and a contact should I require any assistance during our stay. Location was ideal for what we needed. Close to friends and a short drive to the metrocentre. The apartment was pristine clean. Everything has been thought of, very homely and comfortable. It is just a home from home. Lots available in the surrounding area, shops, restaurants, takeaways, etc. Will definitely use property again.

Our suite was lovely and may I suggest romantic.
Our suite was lovely and may I suggest romantic. But beware unless you're passing through, there is very little to do there. Lovely and quiet, could hear the birdsong. The restaurant overlooks a putting green to one side and a lake full of wildlife and water lillies. Saw two herons, moor hens, and I think if you are a twitcher you'd be very happy. Take binoculars. Also forgot to mention, the coast isn't far and there is also a national park. Newcastle airport is easily reached and near.Ponteland has a few restaurants and pubs, The Blackbird has a very good restaurant, the bar food is OK too. The is also an Italian restaurant, Fratelli's. (Probably the wrong spelling), I have been there quite a few times and the food is excellent.

I had business to attend to but I walked from the hotel to the river Tyne then to Ryton village full of old character properties, a very old church and a medieval pen fold. I ate at a local pub. The road outside the hotel has regular buses between Newcastle & Hexham.

We went for lunch in the Cosy Dove around the corner. It was excellent. Apart from that we used the house as a base to go out in the city centre. We did walk there and back - about 25 minutes across the park.

Parking was secure and only £5 per day.
Didn`t like location - too far out of City but serviced it`s purpose for my visit.
No tea and coffee facilities.
First floor noisy area until 10:30 pm.
Seemed to be few people hanging around unsure if staff or not - most friendly.

Exactly what you need for the price .
Exactly what you need for the price . Good Digs with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with all the things you would need for grabbing a coffee ect before heading out.
I only needed it for a place to sleep/pit stop and it was bang on for the price.
Take away around d the corner and a nice pub that does good scran called Alfies 3 minutes away.
In short its a place to crash with what you need no further than a 3 minute walk and Jesmond is quick to reply to any messages with all the info.

We always enjoy a comfortable stay at The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel at Newcastle International Airport.
The hotel is ideally located within 5 minutes walk of the airport terminal building.
We were pleased this time to have an early check-in as we were returning to the U.K. after a very long journey!
The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful!
We enjoyed both a delicious evening meal and breakfast as well at the hotel.
A hotel to be recommended!
