The hotel was easy to find and in a great location, our room was superb, and comfortable in every aspect, we stayed for two nights and the room was cleaned and all items replenished by the cleaners. The kitchen area downstairs was absolutely brilliant, and spotless, if you wanted to cook a full meal for yourselves, you would literally have no problem at all.

For those with a car, there is off-street parking although a little 'squashy'.
The cost was remarkably low; ideal for a short working stay, say for a company employee with a task to complete.
It's only a few minutes drive to the city car parks (too far to walk). There appear to be plenty of city busses.
The breakfast items were well-thought-out; more than we needed.

The villages near by are gorgeous, we walked to Navenby, stopped off at the bakery and had a cuppa and sausage roll, grabbed some rolls for our bacon baps!
The red lion was a lovely pub, dog friendly also! Had pizza which was delicious! It’s super quiet, hardly no cars where we stayed and slept like a log! Ashley was super helpful when we needed any questions answering! (COUNTRY BUMPKIN GLAMPING) So great we booked again for November!

I was there for a family occasion/ function so Metheringham is Metheringham; it’s a nice area, but being there in December within a few days of the shortest day, not a lot was seen of the area other than the accommodation and people I had travelled to meet.

I stayed two nights as I was at a weekend event in a nearby village, the location was excellent for my needs and the price was very attractive. Brilliant value for money accommodation but I didn't explore North Hykeham as I had to be elsewhere during the days.

Lincoln has it all - an historic cathedral quarter, with lots of independent shops, restaurants and bars, cobbled streets and roman walls and ruins. There is the waterfront area on the Brayford, and a lovely pedestrianised shopping area. There are plenty of good places to stay in the various areas of the city. Lincoln castle is well worth a visit, as of course is the cathedral. There are so many good restaurants, with a real variety of cuisines. One of our favourites is Ole Ole tapas restaurant at The Lawn.

An interesting and beautiful city which in recent years has become more aware of it's visitor potential, a near unique setting with the castle and cathedral near each other at the top of an attractive (or challenging?) hill, with more modern developments downhill.
Lots of history, plenty of cafes and restaurants, also numerous good pubs many of which are historic and independant.
I may be biased, I was born there but now live elsewhere, but yes, it's a great little city.

A lovely traditional English inn located in a gorgeous sleepy village with three other pubs and an excellent newsagents plus a Chinese take away (although we didn't use it during our stay).
Excellents hosts who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect.
Excellent value for money. The room was freshly decorated and clean with everything you could wish for.
