The apartment is in a very quiet and relaxing location, it was perfect for our group (2 families with toddlers) allowing us to enjoy lovely evenings with BBQ in front of the seaside. The host was super helpful, provided us with anything we needed to make our stay perfect. On the day of our departure we had an issue with our ferry and he even helped us find a new one and arrange airport transportation as well.

I needed to rest, and to get anywhere involved a minimum 3 kilometre walk to get into Ermoupoli. During the summer I suddenly lost my partner to cancer and so this was the first time in 26 years that I was holidaying alone in the Greek islands. I began to doubt if I would want to do this again. And then I met my hosts. Villa Marenosta offered the best customer service that I have experienced in all these years. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, who picked me up at the port, offered to take me into town, then left goodies in the fridge, brought me spinach pie and apple pie, then took me to the port with a classy “thank you” present. I don’t think that my hosts know the extent to which they helped to lift me in my few days with them. The apartment was spotless and furnished to a high standard. The view from the bedroom of Ermoupoli lit up at night was magical. I especially loved my spacious and comfortable terrace which helped me to relax.
