Sparti was 40 minutes away by car, but we prefer staying in a quieter place. There were many good restaurants a short distance away. Antoni was very helpful and had good recommendations for us. Jack the dog gave us a very nice greeting every day as well!

I was here for the Spartan Race, the hotel is located about 40min from Sparti, the first half drive is on plane road, the second part is going uphill till the top of the mountain where you will find the hotel. The road is in good condition and don't require anything special. It's really in the middle of nowhere but what a crazy place! You can see all the mountains around, there is an incredible silence and sense of peace which is really hard to find somewhere else. The structure is basically new, it's builted in solid stones and the wall are almost 40cm thick, so perfectly sound proof. The owner George is extremely skilled chef, I really recommend you to have dinner in the hotel and try his wonderful dishes. His also very gentle and helpful with the guest. In those days we were all guests for the race and he wake up earlier just to prepare us breakfast early and allow to eat before the race...what else to say? Go there and enjoy, you will never regret!!
