Toris and his family are the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. I felt like family only 24 hours after arriving (as a young solo traveler who has never been to Asia). They constantly showed me around their island. Toris also taught me how to surf in only a few days & his family taught me how to cook Indonesian style! I 100% recommend getting the full meal package, as all meals are home cooked and delicious! The location is perfect, right on the beach & only a couple minutes from the touristy areas of the island. Toris is one of the best people I have ever met & I will never forget my time spent here. I am already looking forward to coming back!

Jamburae Lodge is gelegen op een paar minuten lopen van Strand Sorake en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. Very nice, friendly, relaxed vibe at Jamburae Lodge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the garden area is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious with good variety of options, and the dinners are fresh and delicious. Lagundri Bay is all about the surf, and this is the perfect place to stay. If you don´t take your own board, they have a decent variety for rental. The best thing is that they have a private a little pier that lets you paddle directly to or back from the break, or there is a keyhole in the reef about a 5 minute walk for a shorter paddle to the lineup. All in all, we loved our stay at Jamburae and highly recommend.

New Raya - Nias Beach Bungalows in Lagudri biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een tuin, een privéstrand en een terras. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met douche en slippers. Beautiful location-peaceful compared to the rest of Saroke, but a 3 minute walk to Keyhole. We loved the hammock on the porch - stayed dry even in the rain! Comfortable bed -air conditioning worked best with the bathroom door closed and a fan to circulate air. Perri and Anni, our hosts, were available to help make any arrangements (driver, scooter rental) we needed.& provide us with water if we asked. There are several good places to eat, our favorites were Hello Sunshine for breakfast & Soushie restaurant. The pace of life is much slower than the USA & it was a wonderful respite from our usual life. Anni is a wonderful cook and prepared dinner for us twice while we were there. Truly felt like family!

Het pension ligt op een paar minuten lopen van Strand Sorake, en heeft een bar en massagediensten.... I can’t really express how happy I was with my stay here. The Kristov Wau family were welcoming and helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable. Even the family dogs made me feel at home 🐶 The accommodation is an amazing value for the money, and the location can’t be beat if you’re here to surf. And Mama Kristov’s cooking…wow !10/10, would definitely stay here again .
