He made us feel right at home (especially with a hot cup of tea on arriving), was super helpful and we loved chatting with him...thanks Pat for making our stay memorable.

Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert (Infos zum Check-In wurden vorab per Whatsapp mitgeteilt; während des Aufenthaltes haben sie sich regelmässig nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt). Der Pod war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet; der TV erlaubt die Nutzung von Netflix und Disney Plus. Im Dorf gibt es alles, was man braucht (einen kleinen Laden sowie Pub und Imbiss). Im Pod sind Infos dazu aufgelegen… die Stadt Killarney ist ansonsten nur 15-minütige Autofahrt entfernt.

Die Unterkunft Herlihy's, Half-Way-House besticht durch Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Veranda / Patio und ist in Farranfore gelegen. Coole Unterkunft. Das Apartment ist ein altes Pub und sehr gut ausgestattet, man hat alles was man braucht. Marie, die Vermieterin ist sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie gibt Tipps was man unternehmen soll und wie man am besten fährt. Es ist alles ganz in der Nähe und zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hoffen, einmal wiederkommen zu können, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We were really very satisfied, one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. The house is sepatated, approached by a narrow road that ends shortly after at another house, so only once we had to meet another car. We had complete privacy, the house is neatly equipped, everything works well and there is everything you need for a family stay. It is in the middle of a garden with lots of flowers and green, a beautiful place. Mrs Ann is very helpful and kind. Excellent base for trips to Killarney National Park, the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

It’s a renovated traditional two story farmhouse on a 180 acre dairy farm half way between Kerry Airport and the village of Castleisland. You need a car, I recommend Hertz. It’s the whole house! Mary welcomed us with a generous great welcoming basket full of groceries to supplement what was already in the well equipped full kitchen. Nealy took us to the Monday morning cattle sale and showed us the daily milking routine. So fascinating! We missed the date to return the car but Nealy brought us back from the airport when we had to return it and Mary took us back the next day to make our flight out. They didn’t have to do that as there are plenty of taxis but that’s what country folk do in Ireland is my guess.

Everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday was provided, making it feel like a true home from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommended!
