Erbaut im Jahr 1793 handelt es sich beim Carrygerry um ein charmantes Landhaus an der malerischen irischen Küste von County Clare. Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

This studio apartment is close to Shannon airport, and the owner is delightful. Having been diverted from LHR, we booked a night at this property. When Judith discovered we were there inadvertently, she kindly offered to collect us from the airport. There were scones and jam, which is a lovely gesture, and the shower is excellent. We told Judith we were going to Durty Nellie’s, a famous pub near by, and she went out of her way to drop us off there as it was raining. So helpful, we were really grateful. She couldn’t have been more welcoming. Thank you Judith, you’re the best!

Das kleine familiengeführte Hotel Bunratty Manor liegt 6 km vom Flughafen Shannon entfernt. Innerhalb von 5 Minuten gelangen Sie zu Fuß vom Hotel zum Bunratty Castle und zum Folk Park. Ich hatte einen ruhigen Aufenthalt in einem sauberen Hotel, welches sehr gut gelegen ist um Ausflüge zu machen. Die Betreiber und die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich. Kann es bedingungslos weiterempfehlen.
