Location is excellent near the market, I stayed for 1 night with my family. They have pure veg restaurant and the food was really amazing, the owner of the hotel were themselves supervising the kitchen activities. It was great to see them personally looking after each activity. Room were clean and value for money good for 2 adults and a child. Overall quite satisfied with overall stay. 5 ⭐ to them. Hope they maintain the quality in the long run.

We loved everything, the rooms, the pool, the restaurants and food all were exceptional especially at the price we paid. We stayed 2 nights and had a very refreshing relaxing time. The young man serving in the restaurant was particularly good, as was the chef who cooked us a vegetarian dish to order not on the menu. The reception manager organised airtel top up for us which was much appreciated. The outdoor space and quiet situation were an added bonus.

Jog falls in the rainy season is majestic and should not be missed.
Bhadra Wildlife sanctuary is also a good place to look for wildlife and do a safari - the kids will love it.
That apart, there are many small places in and around Shimoga that can be explored - Mattur, Guli Guli Shankara temple, Sacred Heart Cathedral, etc.

Shimoga is the best place for stay food is good.
Shimoga is the best place for stay food is good. But if you ate traveling in other state vehicle it's not the best place to go. I got a very bad experience in Gandhi Bazar road were I parked and went for shopping. One local guy purposely came and hit my car and made a big mess and some 50 people surrounded and damaged my car. After police came every body ran away. So pls be careful when driving inside shimoga.
