This is the NICEST “hostel” properties I’ve ever stayed at in all my travels!! Every detail is perfect! Exquisitely clean, well equipped, laundry, wonderful breakfast, plentiful WC ratio per guest, two kitchenettes, comfy beds, and excellent views!! My only regret is that I could not stay longer!

He was so nice and told us of the hot pools up the block. Had a shared kitchen to use and free laundry. Breakfast was delicious!

A recently renovated guest house set in Birkimelur, Strönd Guesthouse features barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Hótel is small but all facilities are quite new and modern. The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

The owner was extremely nice, warned us about a possible aurora in the night and we were able to see it thanks to him. There are geothermal waters right across the road and you can enjoy a hot tub with a great view.

A natural hot pool is on the other side of the road. Make sure to bring enough food for your stay, there's no supermarket around. We were lucky enough to get three consecutives nights with northern lights.
