We absolutely loved our stay at the Husey Hostel. The place is charming and our rooms were very comfortable and big. We met people from all over the world in the common areas. The staff was incredibly kind as well. Our daughter forgot her very dear doll in the bed and Elisabet and Laufey were kind enough to ship it all the way back to us. We were also able to visit the Puffin colony about an hour away from the hostel. Overall a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed every minute in this wonderful house. It is so comfortable, so cosy, so well arranged and fully equipped. We loved the comfortable beds, the beautiful living room , the warm kitchen with a lot of cooking stuff ( including spices & coffee), the bathroom, and the views on the countryside. It was raining so we could not use the terrace, unfortunately. Also it was very touching to read the history of the house , indeed this place has a soul. A special &warm thanks to Tinna for letting us stay in this relaxing place.

Featuring a hot tub, Stóri-Bakki Guesthouse-with hot tub is situated in Egilsstadir. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We had an amazing stay at stori bakki. The living room was nice and cozy with comfortable chairs and couch. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable. We were the only ones who booked a room for the night, so we had the entire place to ourselves, which was a luxury. At night, we watched the northern lights evolve from the Hottub, which was a very unique experience!

Stóri-Bakki cosy cottage near Egilsstaðir-Jökull is located in Stóri-Bakki. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Such a cute little cabin and felt more spacious than the photos looked! We saw the northern lights going outside to round the back and looking north, and the owner was very sweet and attentive going out of her way to help our comfort and bring some extra pillows as we struggle to sleep with only one so that was very kind and it was very windy, it was very snowy around but the roads were manageable with 4x4 and lovely views around, good shower good firm beds, nice bedding, great mini fridge and freezer option good oven/ hob, kitchen was good with lots of utensils to use, very warm and cosy and peaceful and private, we liked having a tv, it has smart access too, WiFi was great, the supermarket closes at 7pm bear this in mind as we didn’t 😅

Ekra Cottages is set in Lagarfljótsvirkjun. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The tour desk is available to assist guests in planning their days out. We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Located in Bakkafjörður in the East Iceland region, Dreamy Cabin with Sea Views, North Iceland features a patio and garden views. The house in the sleepy, remote village is one of the few accommodations in the area offering all amenities (including a washer and dryer) and the comfort of staying alone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Overall, the house possesses some continental European flair, which feels nice.
