Our family of three stayed in this 2-bedroom appartment for one night. Giovanni, the owner, gave us detailed information how to get to the house. He was waiting for us as we had late night arrival, and then showed us round the appartment. The house is about 10-minute walk from the airport, located in a quiet nice rural area surrounded by palm trees. The appartment is nicely reconstructed, clean, it has comfortable beds, large bathrooms, equipped kitchen, large terrace. We were given coffee, croissants and bottled water. We would be happy to stay here for longer time but have other travelling plans in Sardegna. Thank you, dear Giovanni, and best wishes in your renting, because you do it with care and love.

The staff was very helpful, they left us the instructions for self check in after midnight and the next day they offered to drive my husbund back to the airoport to pick a rent a car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Agriturismo Barbagia, and Paola was a friendly, helpful and charming host! The location is conveniently located a short car ride from the Alghero Airport, several restaurants and a small but well-stocked grocery store. Breakfast was centered on traditional Sardinian possibilities, including yogurt and several cheeses made from the farms's own sheep's milk, and seasonal fruit and juice. Pastries and muffins were homemade as were several jams and jellies. Sardinian cracker bread, called pane di musica, was always served. Lattes and cappucinos were perfect. Although dinners were only available on the weekend during our off-season visit, we were able to enjoy a 7-course meal based on Sardinian dishes and the local (and famous) Cannonau wine. We appreciated being 20 minutes from central Alghero, one of our favorite cities in Sardinia. We loved exploring this region from the Agriturismo Barbagia.
