An extremely beautiful accommodation located on a quiet street.
The house is large, newly renovated, with 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and very spacious terrace. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you might need, all new, and plenty of cookware and tableware.
The bathroom has a hairdryer and a washing machine.
There are two air conditioner units that ensure a very cool temperature for the entire house.
Andrea is a very kind host, always available to answer our questions and requests. He waited for us late at night with juices and cold water, and with everything needed for the next day's breakfast.
I highly recommend Casa Palma.

Excellent location for the closeness to the Trieste airport, which was important to us as our flight was at
6.30am.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless clean.
We are grateful for a very generous provision of biscuits, croissants, and coffee. Without them, we would be hungry as the only local restaurant where we were hoping to have dinner, was fully booked, and there was nowhere to buy something to eat. Also, our transport to the airport at 4.30 am was organised by the hotel and it was punctual and worked well.

i liked the friendly helpful atmosphere. It was a little difficult to know where to arrive- into a busy cafe. Room and service was excellent. Unfortunately i was too late to enjoy the food but the morning coffee and croissant was great. . location close to airport was perfect.

I was researching somewhere quiet to stay for one night...
I was researching somewhere quiet to stay for one night before an early morning flight home from Trieste airport back to the uk and i found Statranzano -Donatella gave us directions to walk to the property and back to the airport - a code to get throught the gate also meant we were able to leave the property at 3.30am for our 20 minute walk to the airport. Likewise if we had chosen to arrive later for our stay we had the option to use the code. The property was perfect in a peaceful area and the room and facilities were excellent.

The house is easily accessible, parking in the yard. The rooms were clean, the breakfast is provided downstairs, it's a self-service, toast, biscuits, croissants, marmalade, butter, tea, different types of juice, water; coffee from a vending machine. You just leave the key in the basket provided at checkout.

Beds and mattress were uncomfortable, the property is ok for a few nights stay but not more than a weekend. Only one set of towels were provided for a 9 nights stay. The host did not offer cleaning nor fresh linen or fresh towels. The property is looking tired and dated and in need of a fresher decor. Bathroom facilities are good however the bathroom itself could do with a bit of TLC. The communication with the host was good.

The position of Monfalcone is just perfect - beaches, Miramare castle and Trieste and Udine are just a stone’s throw away. The city is nice, with a beautiful historical buildings and monuments, but the atmosphere there is just not so friendly.

There is no basic store nearby to even buy a bottle of water, there is a lot of garbage, the seaweed is not removed after the tide, there is a stench, the municipality does not monitor this, the green area around the beach is covered in shit, although there is a toilet on the beach

Monfalcone is not the most touristic place to be. we were there for a regatta so we visited, the sailclub/marina! we visited Slovenia (the caves) visited Trieste, Udine, Grado,... Monfalcone was fine, and a good place to start these visits. I like the authenticity and it not being touristic,

We always receive a warm welcome. The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful with any questions or requests, such as arranging our taxi transport to and from Trieste Airport. They even prepared a cup of cappuccino and a brioche for us at 5 a.m. before our departure! PS. there is elevator.
