Het METRO Sq is gunstig gelegen op de internationale luchthaven Chubu Centrair en biedt capsulekamers met airconditioning. Het hotel biedt een 24-uursreceptie en gratis WiFi in de openbare ruimtes. Het was onze eerste keer in een capsule hotel. Het personeel sprak goed Engels en legde ons alles rustig uit. De capsule was schoon en ruim. Ook vonden wij het heerlijk om ‘s ochtends niet meer naar het vliegveld te hoeven afreizen.

De kamer is niet groot maar wel met een Japanse badkamer. Ik persoonlijk houd veel van de Japanse badcultuur. Vriendelijk en goed Engels sprekend personeel. Een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt waar zowel de Japanse als niet Japanse klant aan zijn trekken komt. Fijn hotel!

The Mike couple provided very considerate care. The room was very clean and comfortable, and all the daily necessities were complete. There were also artworks created by the homeowners themselves in the house. The place of residence is very close to the airport and also to the station, which is extremely convenient! De Tokoname Pottery wandelroute die start vanaf het station laat de historie van het Japanse pottenbakken zien met daarnaast een route van allerlei winkeltjes die lokaal gemaakt serviesgoed, theepotjes, bonsaischalen en de bekende Japanse kat verkopen. Verrassend veelzijdige route en erg interessant, leuk om de makers te ontmoeten. Nadeel is de reistijd naar Tokoname, alleen bereikbaar met gewone treinen vanaf oa Nagoya.
