Narita Tobu Hotel Airport is 10 minutes from Narita Airport via the hotel’s free shuttle. It features a fitness center with a swimming pool, and offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. The staff were incredibly helpful. Our luggage handle got stuck in a way that would make us unable to fly. The concierge team within 5 minutes had a pair of bolt cutters to help us perform necessary surgery on our suitcase! The breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. The rooms were quite spacious, clean, and everything worked. My partner and I booked the Tobu Hotel for arrival and departure days from Japan and it was the best decision we made. It was easy to catch the free bus from the airport basically to our hotel room especially after a late flight and we didn't want to travel into tokyo. We then went to other hotels closer to the cities we were staying in for the majority of our trip, but the service at Tobu was a highlight for us.

Toyoko Inn Narita Airport Shinkan is located in Narita, within 30 miles of Shopping Mall SHOPS and 31 miles of Chiba Museum of Science and Industry. The room was nice and clean with the bathroom having all the needed amenities. The mattresses were hard but incredibly comfortable. A small but very well stocked convenience store is located on ground floor. The shuttle busses to/from airport runs with Japanese efficiency and of course - the service is impeccable.

Located a 10-minute drive from Narita Airport, Marroad International Hotel Narita offers free airport shuttles. The airport and air crafts can be viewed from some rooms and top-floor restaurants. Breakfast was great and I enjoyed the view. I like the warmness of the staff and their greetings.

Just 10 minutes from Narita International Airport on the free 2-way shuttle, Hotel Nikko Narita features a seasonal outdoor pool, a 24-hour convenience store and 4 dining options. Close enough to the airport, and we managed to hop on the shuttle just in time (one every 20mins). Very seamless, nicely kept property. Rooms were decent, and there's heaps of dining options and a Lawson downstairs. Check-in and check-out was seamless, breakfast spread was pretty good and very reasonable. Would recommend overall.

With an indoor pool, sauna and 17th-floor restaurants, ANA Crowne Plaza is a 10-minute ride from Narita Airport on the free shuttle. Spacious rooms with a flat-screen TV are available. Landed at Narita from Texas, took a taxi to the hotel, had a nice room, hotel was really nice and clean, everyone was very friendly and helpful, took a bus back to airport the next morning and caught a bus to the port for a cruise. This is a five star hotel.

Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) Information

Location and Transport

Set 37 miles (60 kilometres) east of Tokyo, Tokyo Narita International Airport is set between the towns of Narita and Shibayama. Central Tokyo can be reached in 36 minutes by Keisi Skyliner Express or the Narita Express which takes 50 minutes. Both stop at terminals 1 and 2 (there’s a bus link between terminals 2 and 3). Taxis stop at each terminal and cost around JPY 16000 to get to Tokyo’s Zone A.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

There are a few hotels located by the terminals with more found in Narita and many offering a shuttle service. Shops can be found in all terminals, but the biggest selections are in terminals 1 and 2. You’ll find eateries dishing up traditional Japanese cuisine, as well as venues serving food from further afield. There are often cultural exhibitions with past shows including Ukiyo-e printing, a tea ceremony and Bonsai tree displays.

Terminal Information

Terminals 1 and 2 offer most amenities, with Terminal 1 acting as a hub for major airlines like Japan Air and Delta. Terminal 3 is where most low-cost airlines leave from, and you can reach the larger terminals (and train stations) by shuttle bus or foot.
